Tracey Wasielewski

Tracey Wasielewski began her dance training at the tender age of three studying jazz, tap, and ballet for seven years. After taking a brief hiatus to swim competitively, Tracey resumed her dance training at the Erie Bayfront Dance Company, where she studied jazz and hip-hop for seven years under the direction of Nathanial Johnson and Carla Hughes. Ms. Wasielewski further studied jazz, tap, ballet, modern dance and hip-hop while attending Mercyhurst Preparatory High School, where she was a member of the dance company from 2001-2005. She also attended Erie Dance Conservatory under direction of Sarah Purvis from 2004-2005. In 2005 Tracey was chosen for the AIFL Official dance team for the Erie Freeze, where she was a “Chiller Girl” until 2007. While with the Freeze, she helped choreograph routines and performed locally with the team in many public promotional performances. From 2007-2008, Tracey was chosen to dance for the Erie River Rats as one of the “Irresistible’s” on the dance team. Ms. Wasielewski graduated in 2010 from the Pennsylvania State University-Behrend College with a B.A. in Communication and Media Studies. While attending Behrend College, she was a member of the Penn State Behrend Dance Team where she served as co-captain, dancer, and choreographer, as well as dancing competitively in local and regional dance competitions. Ms. Wasielewski has been an instructor at EDC since 2010 teaching jazz, and is the hip-hop instructor at Lakettes Gymnastics Academy.
