Brittany McLay

Brittany is originally from Elizabeth, Pennsylvania where she started her dance career at four years of age. She trained at Karen Tobias Dance Studio for fourteen years which is located is Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She has studied in the genres of tap, ballet, jazz, Hawiian, acrobatics, hip hop, musical theater, contemporary, and modern. She was also a member of the elite company for twelve years where she participated in many conventions and competitions. Brittany has won many scholarships at dance conventions such as New York City Dance Alliance, Jump, Nuvo, West Coast Dance Explosion. Her experience at conventions allowed her to take class from Travis Wall, Stacey Tookey, Napoleon and Tabitha D’umo, Ray Leeper, Anothony Morigerato, and many others. Brittany is currently attending Mercyhurst University and will graduate in May 2017. She is studying biology with concentrations in pre-medicine and neuroscience. Brittany hopes to attend medical school upon graduation from Mercyhurst University. Brittany has been on the Mercyhurst University Dance Team for four years and will serve as co-captain in her senior year. This year will be Brittany’s second year teaching at Erie Dance Conservatory where she teaches hip hop and acrobatics.
