Madison Wieczorek began her dance training at the age of four under the tutelage of Sarah Purvis at the Erie Dance Conservatory. Madison has danced many lead roles in Erie Contemporary Ballet Theatre’s (ECBT) productions such as the Frost Queen, the lead Grinchette, and Peppermint in How the Grinch Stole Christmas, The Blue Bird Pas de Deux in The Sleeping Beauty, and Kitri’s wedding variation in Paquita, and the Odile in Swan Lake to name a few. She has also danced lead roles in many original works such as Ashley Walton’s Grace, Aloft , Solace in Light, and Abandon, Kassandra Taylor’s (con) Version, DeShonna Pepper Robertson’s Ca’Pria, Tracy Vogt’s Verloreene Seele, and Melissa Bobick’s Holberg Suite. Madison has won the Regional Dance America Northeast’s National Choreographic Award in 2011 and 2012, the Jonathan Phelps Memorial Scholarship in 2013, a full scholarship to Joffrey Ballet summer intensive in 2013, and a 75% scholarship to Joffrey Ballet summer intensive in 2014. Madison is currently in her sophomore year at Gannon University working towards a degree in Computer Science.
